The University of Tulsa’s graduate programs have been recognized as among the nation’s best for 2017 by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings are based on several factors including quality, reputation, placement success and student selectivity.

TU’s internationally renowned McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering is ranked No. 4 in the country, while the TU College of Law is listed among the Top 100 law schools in the nation for the fifth consecutive year.

“The McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering is pleased to earn such a prestigious national ranking among these competitive degree programs,” said James R. Sorem Jr., dean of TU’s College of Engineering and Natural Sciences. “We recognize the vital role energy plays in economic development as we prepare yet another generation of students to be industry leaders in a global market.”

Overall, The University of Tulsa is a Top 50 private research institution and is ranked No. 86 among all national universities.
